Boris Sarikov works with stone, wood and ceramics, but metal is his favoured material. At the moment he works in his own bronze foundry, because he thinks that it is of an utmost importance for every artist to be part of all the practical stages of creating his works. His works are included in the collection of the Belgian Royal family, as well as many private collections in Tokyo, Bern, Munich, London etc.

"The aim of my attempt in the toreutics’ art is to go back 2400 years and using this "dead" craft, the base of the survived models in ceramics, antique coins and gravestones on one hand as well as the theoretical historical and mythological sources on the other hand, to create new pieces of art, which can be segments of the "missing puzzle"."
