| Vesselin STOYANOV was born
on April 13, 1957 in Kazanlak (central Bulgaria). He has graduated
in Bulgarian language and literature from the Plovdiv university
and works as correspondent of the "24 hours" daily in his home
town. He is author of collections of short stories "Shlageri"
('Refrains') (1992; 2002), "Vecherya s Angeli" ('Dining with Angels')
/1995/, "Santimentalna kato puma" ('As Sentimental as a Puma')
/1999/ and collections of essays "Belite poleta na spomena" ('The
Blank Fields of Memory') /2000/, "Zabravenata ugovorka s Boga"
('The Forgotten Appointment with God') /2003/. His drama "Lyubov,
sunishta, dumi i…drugi izobrazhenia na smurrta" ('Love, Dreams,
Words and… other Representations of Death') was awarded at the
competition "New Bulgarian Dramaturgy" (Shoumen, 2001). Member
of the Union of Bulgarian Artists. |
